Your role



As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Senior Manager, you will manage and steer our electronic or electromechanical manufacturing service partners. Your main contributions will be the execution of all APQP and NPI related activities that will lead to a successful product launch into series production, after which you will hand over to the Operations team.

You will be fully aware of all production and quality requirements and their impact on the supply chain. During the Process & Design Development and Validation you will be able to maintain a helicopter view in order to successfully steer the project (s). You are capable of understanding ME expectations to suppliers and you are able to judge and make the right decisions. The NPI Manager interacts, actively communicates and seamlessly links our internal departments Hardware, Operations and Production.



Your future tasks at a glance



  • Coordinates the work of cross-functional teams and supports product launches at our production partners.
  • Defines and monitors timelines and timely completion of action plans
  • Analyses overall utilization of multiple equipment and leads decisions for new capital investments
  • Ensures quality and maturity of production releases
  • Defines process flow and equipment requirements together with the Process Technology Manager and provides DFM to Hardware team
  • Conducts NPI and APQP activities together with the Supplier Quality Manager up to QG2
  • Anticipates risks to the product launch schedule and/or budget and finds solutions to mitigate them
  • Responsible for production equipment project budget
  • Supports the implementation of change management with production partners



What You Bring With You



  • Successfully completed university degree in an engineering field
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in automotive sector and detailed knowledge of the requirements
  • Proven experience in the area of automotive electronic or electromechanical manufacturing
  • Certificates: IPC-A610 and ideally VDA6.3
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Highly motivated, willing to take responsibility and ownership
  • Preference for working in teams, confident personality and excellent communication skills (English)
  • Readiness to travel (~ once a month)
