Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our senior team in the preparation and execution of M&A projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of the M&A process. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence
• Assist in the preparation of detailed financial reports, presentations, and marketing materials
• Perform market research and industry analysis to identify potential strategic and financial buyers or acquisition targets across various sectors
• Support the execution of transactions, including the coordination of internal and external team members
• Mentor and guide junior team members and interns to facilitate effective project delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, transaction services or a related field
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial databases (e.g. Capital IQ) is an advantage
• Native-level proficiency in German, and professional proficiency in English
