The primary objective of the Marketing Manager, Europe is to own marketing planning and activation in the direct European markets for Therabody including Germany, France, Spain and Italy. Focusing on driving brand visibility and sales success in the market, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, key business stakeholders, and senior international leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a 1-3 year marketing strategy that identifies both short and long term goals for the regions. Working with the country teams to design growth strategies increasing sales and market share.
  • Own the regional marketing plans – ensuring alignment across the appropriate channels and tactics in the marketing mix.
  • Work with the global media and ecommerce teams to build local media plans that enhance sales performance, increases our brand reach and educates our consumers.
  • Partner with the Regional sales leads to drive revenues with key retail partners executing marketing initiatives and ensure Therabody products are positioned effectively online and in retail stores.
  • Develop and manage an events schedule supported by the brand manager including both brand and retail opportunities that ‘get product on people’.
  • Work closely with the brand team to be a brand guardian for the region ensuring the Therabody brand is kept to the highest standard creatively and physically and developing messaging that speaks to the local target market.
  • Activate the promotional plan for the regions factoring in key cultural moments, retailer opportunities and thinking outside of the norms to generate revenue.
  • Partner with the product manager and sales team to ensure the highest levels of knowledge with consumers and partners alike.
  • Identify and capitalize on market trends, consumer preferences, and cultural nuances to help localize and execute region-specific marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research to understand market dynamics, opportunities, and challenges in each assigned region.
  • Take ownership of results and reporting across marketing activation – taking an analytical approach to success and learnings vs established KPIs
  • Engage with senior leadership to communicate market-specific challenges, opportunities, and progress on local marketing initiatives.
  • Work with local agencies to plan, execute, and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events that drive local brand engagement and revenue.
  • Partner with global merchandising to execute best in class online and store placements for Therabody product, leading on execution and proactively feeding into the long-term development process.
  • Manage the regional marketing budgets working closely with finance, brand & sales for international markets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve business goals.

The Right Person Would Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in international marketing, brand management, and retail marketing, preferably in the consumer goods or wellness industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving marketing initiatives in diverse international markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A passion for wellness and an understanding of global cultural nuances is highly desirable.
  • Languages: native German speaker. Fluency in Spanish, Italian, French and/or Flemish is an advantage. Proficient business English written and spoken essential.
