Allianz Consulting was established in 2004 as the internal consulting division of the Allianz Group. Our vision is to be the consulting partner of choice for Allianz Group core segments. As Managing Partner responsible for Technology and Innovation, you will lead a pillar of 4 practices areas, focusing on technology transformation and strategy, digital architecture, emerging technologies and agile.

What you do:

  • Drive revenue and share of wallet on assigned accounts of AZ Services / AZ Consulting by understanding, anticipating and addressing client business needs and creating and developing relevant offerings.
  • Effectively organize and deliver high quality pitches to win and capitalize on new business for AZ Consulting and AZ Services' Operations. Shape new services in an ongoing collaboration of AZ Consulting with operations and ensure substantial impact of AZ Consulting to the achievement of the annual growth ambition of Allianz Services Operations'.
  • Steer the profitability of the Strategic Area by managing the revenue and the costs directly allocated to the Strategic Area. Ensure governance and reporting consistency in the entire Strategic Area.
  • Act as a trusted expert advisor to the Group's and OEs' C-Level Managers to enable AZ Services (Operations and Consulting) to become the business partner of choice. Continuously improve the Client relationships and ensure high client satisfaction measured by NPS and VoC.
  • Attract and foster high potential talents and leaders with skill-sets required to deliver superb services and projects, grow talents and ensure an adequate employee retention quote.
  • Nurture a high level of employee engagement by fostering a strong organizational culture based on integrity, leadership, AZ values and People Attributes. Drive relevant employee initiatives to increase employee satisfaction (measured by AES).

What you bring:

  • Operational Business and/ or Consultancy experience > 10 years
  • University degree or a comparable professional experience
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Broad experience in project- and program management methods and techniques, process development
  • Conceptual and implementation experience, broad strategic and operational management experience
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong motivational interpersonal skills
  • Advanced experience in change management, quality management, integration and re-organization as well as training and lecturing
  • Prior leadership experience (min. 3 years desirable)

Desired requirements /skills /experience:

  • Extensive insurance business knowledge or extensive knowledge in IT transformation/strategy, innovation, or emerging technology
  • Extensive project experience
  • International work experience (min. 24 months)
