Finatal is currently partnered with a private equity-backed business services Group that is growing rapidly via an international buy-and-build strategy and is now seeking a Managing Director to lead a key German business unit.

The Group is on course to grow to €1.5bn turnover within the next five years. This is an exceptional opportunity to take full ownership of a business unit within the flagship asset of a leading international private equity firm.

Core Mandate:

The incoming Managing Director will play a crucial role in defining strategic direction and refining organizational structure within the €25m turnover business unit. Key responsibilities will include:

• Defining market strategy in alignment with the broader Group, with a core focus on optimizing pricing and devising a roadmap for expansion across Germany.
• Instilling a high-performance culture at every level of the business.
• Enhancement of reporting to Group leadership.
• Achieving 10% YoY organic revenue growth.

Essential Requirements

• Full German fluency, both written and spoken, and full flexibility to travel to 7 different sites across Germany as needed.
• Strong strategic experience, preferably with some exposure to defining pricing strategies and broader commercial frameworks.
• Proven team leader with high IQ/EQ.
• Comfortable within a very fast-paced, performance-driven business culture.
