Short description:


We are looking for a solutions- and data-driven Sales Operations Manager to act as the right hand of our regional sales leader. This is a data-driven role where you will work with forecasting, planning and sales pipelines, delivering data, metrics and insights, so that our leadership can make informed decisions with regards to territorial strategies and market initiatives.

We are looking for a Sales / Sales Operations professional excited about building world class sales operations, based on harmonisation, standardisation and governance.


This is a senior individual contributor role with no people management responsibility.


Tasks in detail:


  • Act as a right hand and challenger to the Go-to-Market (GTM) Leaders of EMEA by continuously analysing the health of the business and proactively recommending improvement measures
  • Guide Sales teams to success by owning operational cadences around forecasting, pipeline reviews and planning
  • Ensure progress of the commercial goals by managing the top deal list with the sales leadership, ensuring actionable outcomes to deliver business growth
  • Drive visibility and data-driven decision making in the Sales team by building, running and automating various funnel, pipeline, market and KPI related forecasts, reports and dashboards
  • Ensure high quality Sales forecast
  • Influence regional business strategies, GTM and HC-planning activities by using data driven insights, turning those to value adding recommendations for the GTM Leaders
  • Increase sales machine speed by proactively identifying bottlenecks in sales process and CRM-tools.
  • Perform regular inspection of account planning and strategies, focussing on growth
  • Manage interfaces with relevant internal functions e.g. Marketing, Finance, etc. to ensure efficiency and success across the business
  • Analyse sales data to conclude how effective a product, sales process, or campaign has been and provide basis for tactical and strategic decisions
  • Ensure harmonised and standardised approach across EMEA-countries and capabilities
  • Solid line reporting into EMEA Sales Operations, dotted-line reporting into respective regional GTM-Leader


Requirements:


  • 6 – 8 years of experience working in Sales or Sales Operations, with a proven track record.
  • Business fluent in both English and German
  • Excited about building world class Sales Operations that supports the “EMEA Turbocharging Growth” strategy through harmonisation, standardisation and governance
  • Real team player who collaborates well with senior leaders (within Sales, cross-functional, in central & regional teams)
  • Can build strong trust-based relationships and has the confidence to challenge business partners and resolve roadblocks
  • Ability to understand overall business targets and leading Sales Ops initiatives to support and accelerate those targets
  • Analytical, numbers-driven with a very structured and proactive work approach
  • Embraces change (towards One MI) and able to visualize the Big picture
  • Skilled in Salesforce.com, Power BI and Excel
