We are seeking a competent and experienced Manager, IT Operations (EMEA) to oversee our organization's IT operations and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our IT team, ensuring the smooth functioning of all IT systems, and implementing technological solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Set up new accounts, maintain customer database (name / address changes, adding / deleting shipping account numbers, payment terms, etc.)
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Manage and supervise the IT team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and productivity
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement technological solutions and upgrades to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing IT-related issues and ensuring timely resolution
  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to understand business requirements and align IT initiatives with organizational goals and objectives
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and relevance to the organization's IT strategy.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and support
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and mitigate risks to the organization's IT infrastructure
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with security standards

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of successfully managing IT operations and infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, with expertise in implementing and maintaining complex IT environments. Must be Hand-on
  • Proficiency in IT project management methodologies, with experience in leading and executing IT projects from inception to completion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholder
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach to addressing IT-related issues and challenges
  • Relevant certifications in IT management (e.g., ITIL, PMP) and specific technologies are advantageous but not required.
