M&A Analyst - Investment Bank

Introduction: Our client, a prominent investment bank, is seeking a dedicated and experienced M&A Associate to join their team in Stuttgart, Germany. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, providing strategic advisory services to clients across various industries.

Role Overview: As an M&A Associate, you will play a critical role in the execution of M&A transactions. You will work closely with senior bankers, clients, and other stakeholders to support all phases of the deal process, from initial pitch to transaction closing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Execution: Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support transaction analyses and valuations.
• Market Research: Conduct industry and market research to identify potential targets and strategic opportunities for clients.
• Client Interaction: Prepare and deliver presentations, pitches, and other materials for clients and senior management.
• Documentation: Draft and review transaction-related documentation, including information memoranda, management presentations, and board materials.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and regulatory advisors, to ensure seamless transaction execution.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on M&A transactions. Experience with cross-border deals is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
