Junior Sales Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

For our dynamic and experienced team, we are currently seeking a Junior Sales Business Development Manager (f/m/d) to join us as soon as possible. In this role, you will be responsible for generating, establishing, and further developing relationships with commercial end customers in Germany within the Personal Systems division, focusing on end user sales.

Within the Personal Systems End User Sales sector, our responsibilities include selling computer systems (such as notebooks, workstations, desktops, thin clients etc.) and associated accessories (commercial/office). An important strategic focus is on addressing workstation and retail industrial solutions products in sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, and media & entertainment, closely coordinated with account managers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and driving the sales pipeline for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) customer and ISVs (Independent Software Vendor) partner.
  • Develop lists of potential prospects, schedule meetings and presentations with the prospects, and qualify new sales leads.
  • Stay updated on competitors in the OEM market to strategically position HP's products and services better.
  • Build relationships with key ISVs—software products that are designed to meet the specific needs of various market segments or industries.
  • Utilize market expertise to identify new opportunities and enhance existing ones to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit.
  • Support account managers and contribute insights for business development and solution expertise.
  • Set quota objectives and define future directions for designated product categories.
  • Establish professional and consultative relationships with the client up to and including C-level for mid-to-large accounts, understanding their unique business needs within their industry.
  • Collaborate with and leverage external partners to optimize sales delivery.
  • Focus on expanding contractual renewals for mid-to-large accounts with more complexity, to higher total contract-value renewals.
  • Anticipate customer needs through collaboration with internal and external experts, facilitating solution development.
  • Enhance sales readiness and reduce client learning curves through effective knowledge transfer in are of specialization.

Education And Experience Required

  • Preferably a University or Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven track record in achieving higher quotas, managing diverse business customers and having higher level customer interface.
  • 2-4 years of advanced sales experience, ideally in Healthcare, Automation, or CAx environment/market.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Deep understanding of products, services, and solutions, distinguishing HP's offerings from competitors'.
  • Apply specialized technical product/service/solution knowledge in working with account teams to screen and prioritize multiple leads for feasibility.
  • Utilize knowledge in specialty and consultative selling skills to assist customers in making informed IT business decisions.
  • Assesses solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective to determine "qualify-in"/"qualify-out" status
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills, particularly at the managerial level within IT.
  • Ability to demonstrate products, conduct customer training, and manage product installations (for product specialty roles).
  • Conceptualize and articulate well-targeted solutions in area of specialty (product, service, solution) effectively from proposal to contract closure.
  • Have enough knowledge about a product, service or solution to be able to qualify a deal.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, associated solutions, and key partner/ISV offerings.
  • Regular use of CRM tools, updating deal profile and forecasting accurately.
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Flexibility for travel within Germany.
