As a IT Systems Engineer (m/f/d)You will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of our company's IT systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of server hardware and operating systems
• Manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs
• Manage virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V and maintain virtual server environments
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Perform routine infrastructure maintenance activities, including patch management, firmware upgrades, and system backups
• Monitor system resource utilization, capacity planning, and implement scaling measures
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve operations-related issues
  
  

, Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field
• Several years of experience as aIT Systems Engineer (m/f/d) or in a similar role in the development and management of complex IT infrastructures
• Solid knowledge of server hardware, operating systems (Windows and Linux) and virtualization technologies
• Experience configuring and managing network technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs, as well as cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiar with IT security principles and best practices, including network security, access controls, and vulnerability management
• Confident knowledge of monitoring and performance analysis tools to proactively detect and remediate infrastructure issues
• Fluent English and German skills
