Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Continuity Manager who will ensure the robustness and resilience of our IT services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT continuity planning and disaster recovery, with the ability to manage and mitigate risks. Fluency in German is required to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Continuity Plans: Create, test, and maintain comprehensive IT service continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption during incidents.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats to IT services and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and oversee disaster recovery plans to ensure swift restoration of IT services in case of major disruptions.
• Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with various departments to ensure all continuity measures are understood and implemented. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients in both English and German.
• Training and Awareness: Conduct regular training sessions and awareness programs to ensure all employees are prepared to respond to IT service disruptions.
• Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all continuity plans comply with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT service continuity management or a related field.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications in ITIL, COBIT, or other IT service management frameworks are a plus.
• Skills: Strong understanding of IT continuity planning, disaster recovery, and risk management. Proficiency in relevant tools and software.
• Language: Fluency in German and English is required.
