IT Security Purchasing Manager

Our client is an IT security organisation, looking to build purposeful and trust-driven relationships with their customers by offering efficient and transparent solutions, build from their expertise IT sourcing and Market Intelligence.

We are currently seeking a talented IT Purchasing Manager to join their team, with excellent networking skills and previous experience in IT Strategy and/or Cyber Security.

This is a remote position in Germany, requiring outstanding fluency in both German and English Languages, and is only available on a full-time basis.

The Role and Responsibilities:

• Strategic Networking: Utilise your expertise in IT procurement and cyber security to build and strengthen professional networks.
• Active Collaboration: Provide the business development team with cyber security expertise in the expanding industry.
• Service Innovation: Continuously broaden our service range with an emphasis on commercial and contractual offerings. Prepare customised market research on various cybersecurity services for clients.
• Research and Assessment: Lead independently by preparing and executing cybersecurity assessments, offering clients advice on necessary actions and cybersecurity purchases.
• Integrated Approach: Offer comprehensive communication to clients, based on detailed analysis of their specific cybersecurity requirements.

Your Profile and Qualifications:

• Education: You must hold an accredited University Degree in one of the following courses- Business Administrations, Information Technology, Business, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience in IT Purchasing, ideally working for an independent or start up organisation with an industry focus of IT Strategy, Technology Consultancy and Solutions.
• Character: Highly motivated and driven individual, who takes accountability and possesses a business mindset. You are passionate, enthusiastic, and optimistic about this IT industry, and have an excellent work ethic.
• Strengths: Excellent Interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade, communicate your knowledge, and convey complex ideas in a way that demonstrates confidence, respect, and understanding of each customer’s needs. You are open and proactive towards learning, and pick up concepts quickly with strong intellect and analytical skills
