Position: Linux and VMware System Administrator
Employment Type: Full-time
Requirements:
Technical training or relevant studies
Experience in Linux operating system administration
Experience with VMware environments
Basic knowledge of network technology
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Excellent written and spoken German skills (min. C1)
Good English skills (min. B2)
Responsibilities:
Linux Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers. Troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability. Implement security guidelines and patches.
VMware Administration: Manage and maintain VMware virtual environments. Configure and optimize virtual machines. Monitor resource usage and optimize performance.
Network Support: Assist with network issues and queries. Perform basic configuration of network devices and protocols. Collaborate on network security measures.
Documentation: Document system configurations, processes, and solutions. Maintain and update technical manuals.
Incident Management: Diagnose and resolve IT faults and problems.
