Technical training or studies and first relevant professional experience
Knowledge and experience in the administration of Linux operating systems
Experience in the configuration and administration of VMware environments
Basic knowledge of network technology
Proactive and solution-oriented way of working
Very good written and spoken German skills (min. C1)
Good knowledge of English (min. B2)
Tasks & Responsibilities
Linux operating system administration:
Installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux servers
Troubleshooting operating system problems and ensuring system stability system stability
Implementation of security guidelines and patches
VMware administration:
Management and maintenance of VMware virtualized environments
Provision, configuration and optimization of virtual machines
Monitoring resource utilization and performance optimization
Basic knowledge of network technology:
Support with network problems and queries
Basic configuration of network devices and protocols
Collaboration on network security measures
Creation of technical documentation:
Documentation of system configurations, processes and problem solutions solutions
Maintaining and updating technical manuals
Incident and problem management:
Diagnosis and rectification of IT faults and problems
