We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of Robotics Engineering.
What awaits you?
Design, build, and optimize the software architecture and decision-making algorithms of a real-world logistics robot.
Assist in various tasks in robotics engineering.
Deployment of the complete system in different production plants.
Troubleshoot system failures and propose adequate solutions.
Participate in the Continuous Integration of the robot.
Collaborate with the team using Agile software development methods.
Document work on the wiki-based collaboration tool Atlassian Confluence.
Maintain software using version control and git.
What should you bring along?
Studies in Robotics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, or any science degree with relevant experience.
Experience with Python and C++. C/C# or Java experience also relevant.
Experience with system development using a ROS Environment.
Experience with code collaboration using git.
Experience with application development and deployment in Docker.
Problem solving skills, ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.
