Job Purpose/Role:

We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) to strengthen our Investment Controlling – Debt Strategies department in Munich or Frankfurt.

What you do:

• Valuation of illiquid structured financial instruments applying advanced pricing tools based on widely accepted and appropriate valuation techniques
• Analysis of issue documentation of structured fixed income assets as well as their set up in the internal pricing engine. Running review and Life Cycle Management (e.g. cash flow adjustments, rating migrations, etc.)
• Analysis and set-up of appropriate yield and default curves using internal and external market data
• Automatization of the internal valuation processes using programming languages like Python and SQL
• Implementation of new features in the HTML/Vue web front-end and Python back-end environment utilized in monitoring of valuation processes and reporting
  
  

What you bring:

• Enrolled in advanced semester of Bachelor's or Master's degree with a financial, quantitative and/or IT background
• Fluent in spoken and written English, good knowledge of German
• Programming skills with practical experience in one or more of SQL, Python or other object-oriented language
• The ability to work independently as well as the ability to work flexibly in a team environment and to think out of the box
• Very good team player with high motivation and positive work attitude
