The role
As Inhouse IT Manager, you are responsible and accountable for the smooth operation of our computer systems within the constraints of requirements, specifications, cost and time.
In close cooperation with dSPACE's IT management, the incumbent oversees the implementation and maintenance of our company's computing needs and ensures compliance with regulations.You will also be the direct link between our employees and our IT department.

As Inhouse IT Manager, you are responsible and accountable for the smooth operation of our computer systems within the constraints of requirements, specifications, cost and time.
In close cooperation with dSPACE's IT management, the incumbent oversees the implementation and maintenance of our company's computing needs and ensures compliance with regulations.You will also be the direct link between our employees and our IT department.
Your tasks
- Manage and maintain the organization's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks
- Plan, implement, and monitor IT projects and initiatives, ensuring the organization's technological needs are met
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology-related issues and find innovative solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure the organization's technology infrastructure is in line with best practices
- Develop and implement security measures to protect the organization's digital assets and prevent data breaches
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization
- You have a degree in computer science or have a comparable qualification (e.g. IT training, long years of experience in the field)
- You have excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- You have a broad expertise in data center management and data governance
- You have hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- You are fluent in written and spoken english (german is a plus)
