We are currently recruiting for a Human Resouces Generalist reporting to the EU HR Manager. This role is highly collaborative and requires drive, organisation, and foundational HR skills. You will work closely with different business sectors and deliver HR activities to support business growth. You are expected to work within the internal HR team (based in the UK) and extended Global HR teams and functions.

Essential Skills/Experience:
Proficient in German and Mandarin, both written and oral. Fluent English is needed.
Bachelor's degree or above in human resources and relevant subjects. Biology is preferred.
3+ years’ work experience in HR function in Germany. Work experience in biomedicine, medical equipment or biotech companies is a plus
Good knowledge of German labour laws and immigration legislation
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HR management systems
Good multitasking and time management capability
Teamwork spirit, proactive attitude and goal-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and people skills as well as strong cultural awareness
Job Description:
Manage recruitment activities, e.g. headcount planning, candidate selection, documentation and system maintenance
Manage employee absence and system administration
Manage staff onboarding and offboarding procedures and relevant documentation
Manage migrant workers, support visa and residence application and conduct regular visa audits
Manage local employee relations. Implementing programmes to improve employee experience and advocate Company values and culture; support handling grievance and disciplinary procedures when needed
Support management and daily administration of Company remuneration schemes, supplier negotiation and payroll process
Support Company performance management activities, such as probation, appraisal, PIP, promotion, capability mapping, 360 degrees feedback etc.
Improving, implementing and administering HR policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with German labour legislation
Collect and analyse data with useful HR metrics for different purposes, e.g. employee retention, leadership, and recruitment efficiency.
Work closely with all EU business units and HQ HRC to improve management localisation and work efficiency
Lead administrative support to local team when needed, such as event arrangement, business visit coordination, file translation, office supply purchasing, correspondence etc.
Business trips might be required for this position but only at absolutely necessary level.
