Your Tasks

We are on the brink of exciting expansion and internal business realignment across its IT Digital architecture. To support these ambitious ventures and improve existing processes that need more direct leadership, the company is seeking an accomplished professional to spearhead the CoE that has oversight of all things technical within its global plant technologies/locations, Sales and Marketing applications, and R&D all with a focus on modernization - all things digital.

As the Head of their DIT Competency Centre, you will be accountable for the strategic vision and governance for all Non- SAP applications (c500) across global business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Head of the Competency Centre will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of functional heads including Plant, R&D, and Sales & Marketing across its digital transformation.
  • Ability to Identify opportunities for technological advantage and continuous improvement.
  • Work with all Business Partners/divisional heads ensuring fit-for-purpose technologies are being delivered in line with business goals
  • Working with program leads on change management and process improvements
  • Ensuring data protection and compliance.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for the IT Business Partnering groups


Your Profile

  • The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT leadership with a global perspective is essential.
  • Strong technical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good level of understanding and implementing governance and compliance across an IT CoE
  • Knowledge of Non-SAP applications specifically across plant life cycle management, R&D, and Sales & Marketing with some kind of manufacturing environment
  • A bonus add would be a strong knowledge of LIMS
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) - bonus is the ability to speak & and converse in German
