Become a part of the Coats world.Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement (m/w/d)ResponsibilitiesDirect responsibilities for the Category Management of Indirect Materials, Services, Capex, Energy and Logistics, in order to support the overall Business needsLeading a cross functional Category management teamTaking over responsibilities for defined Categories as Category ManagerImplementing and developing the Category Management systematic inside Procurement and with other functional areas inside the organisationDevelop category strategies down to sub-category level and drive execution in alignment with stakeholdersManaging supply market analysis and cost model approachesResponsible for regular reporting of KPI to management and stakeholders and working on improvement of KPI systems in procurementManaging the supply base development for the CategoryDeveloping and implementing the teams negotiation strategyServe as a mentor to other team membersAlign/influence Senior Management within the Business and supply base, to gain stakeholder buy-in to the Category Strategy, approach and deliverables
Education and professional experience
A BA/BSC in Engineering, Manufacturing or Business related disciplines; MBA or equivalent preferred7-10 years, or more years of working experience in a world class Procurement organizationAt least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a Procurement Leadership roleHands on experience in executing Category Management approach in an international Procurement environmentExperience of working with differing nationalities and culturesProficient in MS office packageFluency in English is a must, other languages will be an advantagePersonal AttributesEnthusiastic about extensive travel opportunitiesStrong personal drive and commitment to deliver on time resultsAbility to strike the right balance between execution and strategyStrong leadership skills and mindsetStrong problem solving and analytical skillsCan-Do attitudeStrong influential skillsFlexible and open minded
