Our Financial Planning & Analysis team is responsible for the planning & reporting of all financial data at Native Instruments, to provide financial transparency to both internal and external stakeholders. We support the business with understanding the financial impact of both previous investments and new strategic opportunities & make recommendations to senior management based on our work.

What You'll Do

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for managing Opex & Capex expenditure across a number of global functions and entities, producing management reporting, working closely with stakeholders across the organization to deliver business outcomes in a dynamic changing environment. In particular, you will partner directly with our People team in planning and implementing periodic merit and promotion reviews, and other reward-related activities.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • As a member of our FP&A team ("Financial Planning & Analysis"), you will act as an Opex controller for the group, providing financial transparency & guidance to optimize cost efficiency across all functions.
  • You will support our FP&A business partners for all matters related to Opex (being staff costs and external opex), including investment appraisal and project analysis.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the relevant hierarchies and master data in our financial systems, to make sure that our analysis & reporting reflects organizational changes.
  • You will support the compilation of Opex budgets and regular re-forecasts as part of the wider budgeting and control process.
  • Support senior stakeholders, driving accountability for Opex budgets, working with confidential information.
  • Challenge current Opex processes, driving and implementing continuous improvement proposals.
  • You will review actual spending vs. plan & report on key drivers for variance.
  • You will support our Senior Opex Analyst with preparation of reporting key financial data to the Board.
  • Review purchase orders prior to approval, to ensure only budgeted & appropriate investments are being made.
  • Proactively seek cost optimization opportunities & perform analysis to support any recommendations.

What You'll Need

  • You have proven expertise in FP&A functions and have a passion for numbers & data,
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree qualification in Finance, Business or a related field,
  • You bring an excellent understanding of commercial processes and system-technical contexts,
  • You have an analytic, solution-oriented mindset, and are passionate about continuous improvement, bringing a track record of root cause analysis and problem solving,
  • You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using a range of data and analytical tools/ methodologies,
  • Your working knowledge of ERP systems, and experience with Oracle, is a plus,
  • You enjoy working collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders, and are happy working autonomously,
  • Due to the global nature of this role, English language fluency and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
