What you'll do:

The Event Marketing Manager plays a key role in the development and implementation of event marketing plans to achieve short and long-term commercial objectives. The Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for all areas of the event marketing process, including strategic planning, conception, and execution. This role reports to the Senior Manager, EMEA Event Marketing and collaborates with the broader EMEA marketing team.


  • Responsible for the strategy and execution of large corporate events, smaller special events, and industry conferences in Germany and occasionally other EMEA markets, ensuring clear objectives and messaging for each event.
  • Partner cross functionally, to define and execute on the program goals, messages, audience generation/email campaigns, speaker plan, collateral, event website and registration, and event logistics.Event management from conception to completion including audio visual production, collateral design, creative concepts, vendor liaison, staffing, logistics, budgeting, negotiation and stakeholder management
  • We create impactful event marketing strategies that drive business growth and enhance brand visibility across the EMEA region.   • Gather information and work collaboratively with business stakeholders to formulate the event marketing strategy incorporating budgets and objectives.
  • Research and evaluate potential guest speakers for events.
  • Responsible for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of events, including leads and other metrics with focus on ROI of events.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with outside vendors.
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects
  • Budget tracking and facilitation for EMEA Region.
  • Traveling to on-site inspections and project managing events.

Who you are:


  • 5-8 year’s experience in events. Understanding of the programmatic advertising industry is a strong bonus.
  • Demonstrated successful planning and executing large and small scale events and trade shows.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and/or Marketo, or strong bonus.
  • Must be fluent in German and English.
  • Sponsorship management including contracting, content, and speaker liaison.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with experience creating and delivering marketing programs in line with larger marketing plans.
  • Intellectually curious and comfortable diving into technical, complex, and nuanced topics.
  • High EQ with the ability to build cross-functional relationships across large teams and thrive in fast-paced environment.
  • Based in Hamburg area, with ability and willingness to travel across EMEA and US occasionally.
