Event-Manager (m/f/d)

Then you've found your dream job. We are currently looking for a COMMUNITY & EVENT MANAGER (m/f/d - 40h/week) to join the team at the KI Park office in Berlin.

KI Park e.V. connects stakeholders and initiatives in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, both nationally and at the European level. Our member network includes about 160 companies, startups, NGOs, and societal actors, operating across Germany and Europe. Together, we are on a mission to deploy AI technologies for a leading position in key artificial intelligence technologies, a strong innovation hub, and a significant societal impact.

YOUR TASKS

Together with the KI Park Program Team, your role is to design, plan, and execute community projects and events with the KI Park members and ecosystem partners - thereby bringing real value to the AI scene and our members. You are the first contact for our startup members and onboard them to the KI Park community. 

• Understand the needs of our members and the latest developments in the AI scene. 
• Conceptualize new formats, workshops, and programs that are valuable to our community of innovators.
• Plan and execute AI events in Berlin, Germany, and Europe in collaboration with our members and external partners. 
• Implement projects to orchestrate the KI Park community. 
• Manage the onboarding process of new members to the KI Park community. 

YOUR PROFIL

• You have at least three years of work experience working in event management, project management or community management. 
• You are based in Berlin or are regularly present in the area. 
• You are a good listener, open-minded, and hands-on in developing creative solutions to problems. 
• You have organizational talent and work in a structured manner. 
• You are curious and grasp new topics quickly. 
• You have an interest in innovation, are passionate about startups, and support the mission of KI Park. 
• You are fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
