EVENT MANAGER

Location: Berlin, Germany (part-remote possible)

We are looking for an event manager to plan and realise engaging science and innovation events within our dynamically growing portfolio. The role requires an independent, reliable and motivated individual who wants to join an ambitious collective of strategists and creatives operating out of a tech- and techno-powered hub of Berlin.

futurehain is a purpose-driven strategy and creative agency based in Berlin. Our work is inseparably intertwined with science: We explore new horizons, conceive strategies and design experiences by unleashing the wonder and awe inherent in breakthrough discoveries and emerging technologies. We are proudly supporting some of the world’s foremost research and innovation organisations on their journeys to launch novel initiatives, devise impactful projects and inspire audiences of all kinds with world-changing ideas.

WE COUNT ON YOU TO…

  • Plan, execute, monitor and evaluate client and in-house projects, with a focus on science and innovation events
  • Create project plans and ensure that we're always on track
  • Liaise with project partners, venues, suppliers and other external service providers
  • Facilitate project operations and day-to-day business
  • Conduct research for soon-to-be-launched projects and event formats

SKILLS MATTER (BUT CHARACTER MATTERS MORE)

  • At least 3 years of experience in fields related to event and/or project management, preferably in an agency setting
  • Proven experience in planning and running events of different sizes (100-1000 participants)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mind and a track record of staying on top of things in deadline- and deliverable-oriented environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German with a refined sense for tonality and context
  • Positive, can-do attitude, especially when it comes to communicating with clients and external stakeholders

THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN COUNT ON:

  • A downtown studio and a stimulating environment with the flexibility of working part-remotely depending on project schedules, including 4-day weeks if preferred
  • A high level of responsibility, creativity, originality and independence for your work
  • An opportunity to shape a growing and ambitious agency within a vibrant and influential international network in the worlds of science and innovation
  • Learn and develop together within a highly professional environment that values the human factor, individuality and the freedom of self-expression

SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION UNTIL 16 July 2024, INCLUDING:

  • Your CV and/or portfolio, including what motivates you to work with us and an overview of projects of yours that made a difference
  • Your earliest possible starting date
  • Your desired gross annual salary for a full-time (40-hr/week) position

We look forward to receiving your application via hello [at] futurehain.com
