As an Engineering Manager you'll sit at the intersection of organisational and functional leadership by heading two teams with full management responsibilities. We understand the candidate market, and we as a company are in support of a well-balanced work life.
Your Role
- You will be leading 24x7 teams responsible for managing Site Reliability, Incident and Problem Management.
- You will improve existing and create new frameworks that ensure the best possible resilience and availability of services according to industry best practices.
- You will conduct regular 1-on-1s with all direct reports and help them grow.
- You will be the central point of contact for Partner, Vendor and Internal incident escalations.
- You will ensure as part of owning the Problem Management process that the underlying root causes and Known Errors are documented according to defined standards and systemic preventative actions are tracked to resolution across all Solaris SE teams.
- You will create overall standards for monitoring and alerting in collaboration with the Cloud & Platform Engineering Team and continuously expand CI/CD capabilities.
- Engineering management prior experience
- Experience with Incident and Problem Management ITSM processes
- Experience with Site Reliability concepts, building fault-tolerant systems, coding automation and systems design
- Good understanding of modern information technology and AWS Cloud concepts
- Excellent troubleshooting & problem analyzing skills with customer-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with Banking concepts represents a plus
- Fluent in English, verbally and in writing. German language fluency would be a plus.
