Emerge Store is looking for a Business Co-Founder
I am looking for a co-founder for a freshly established online retail platform selling Ukrainian brands Europe-wide. EMERGE is the pioneer e-commerce platform based in Berlin, aiming to bring together unique Ukrainian fashion brands and make them easily accessible to international customers. The company’s mission is to showcase the Ukrainian designers who create outstanding locally manufactured products and work in a slow fashion sustainable approach.
Despite everything that is happening in Ukraine right now, these brands are continuing to work on producing authentic products which deserve to be seen and get attention across the globe, not only for their origins but also for the exceptional designs and quality they create.
The goal of EMERGE is to offer an alternative to marketplaces representing large global brands and make it possible for the talented emerging designers from Ukraine to be seen and find their customers.
Tasks

Tasks
- As co-founders, we will build the company by sharing ideas and challenges to shape the brand identity and vision as well as the future development strategy
- The platform is already launched but your help is needed to continuously improve it
- You will need to help raise the global awareness of the platform and the represented brands
- Help in the operational management of the product shoots and in- and outgoing shipments logistics
- Knowledge and understanding of the contemporary fashion industry with a focus on sustainability and independent designer relations
- Ideally, experience in e-commerce retail environment
- PR and marketing experience is a plus
- Russian or Ukrainian is a plus but not mandatory
- Preferably based in Berlin, but if you are an ideal candidate based elsewhere we can make it work
- Passion for the platform’s idea and strong motivation to contribute to the social and political cause of it
- The co-founder position with the company shares the opportunity to build the company from scratch
- Make a difference in the fashion world by bringing forward small independent designers with a complex political background
