YOUR TASKS
Being responsible for and leading (functional/disciplinary) the department Procurement Direct Material International
Implementing an active leadership management/succession planning for Procurement Direct Material, aligned with the colleagues in Procurement, Logistic and Quality
Defining an appropriate concept for global/local Procurement and developing the necessary roles and responsibilities together with Logistic/Replenishment
Steering/controlling the department Procurement Direct Material based on agreed KPIs and targets, ensuring an appropriate target achievement with a focus on Business Planning, Procurement Budget and Performance
Further developing and cross-functionally aligning an innovation management process with focus on supplier innovations, including a supplier selection and nomination process
Securing the supplies (escalative support, 2nd level) together with Replenishment
Ensuring an in-time supplier nomination process for new products based on the defined go-to-market strategy and the appropriate product requirements (product specification, product quality and delivery conditions)
YOUR PROFILE
Degree in Business Administration, Procurement Management or Industrial Engineering and Management
Many years of analytic, structured and concept oriented working experience in a consultancy environment
Several years of Procurement experience in the automotive industry, mechanical and plant engineering or wholesale business, knowing the entire purchasing toolbox
Several years of leadership experience in a challenging, international Procurement environment, having distinct leadership and change management competencies as well as a good process understanding
Motivating the team with an empathic approach and based on values to generate top performance and fun at work
Ability to inspire and convince stakeholders on all levels for the own ideas and concepts, ability to network
Ability to network, applying convincing and target-oriented representation skills (on all company/supplier levels)
Ability to make decisions also in critical/challenging situations and willingness/strength of implementation
High ability to analyze and structure challenges in a solution-oriented way and develop appropriate concepts combined with strong implementation skills
Being an enthusiastic driver for the transformation processes having the big picture in mind
