As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Director to join their dynamic team in the Düsseldorf area. Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

• Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective storage, handling, and distribution of goods.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Site Management:

• Manage site facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet operational requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any site-related issues promptly.
• Optimize layout and storage solutions for maximum efficiency.

Logistics & Distribution:

• Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Develop and implement distribution strategies to meet customer demands and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transport companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Planning & Transport:

• Create and manage transport schedules, optimizing routes for cost and time efficiency.
• Monitor and manage transport budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Analyze and improve logistics processes to enhance overall efficiency and reduce delays.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in the retail sector.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and logistics planning tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
