About The Rol

For our team in the German market we are looking for a Director Finance. In this role, you will be part of our leadership team in Germany and responsible for structuring, monitoring and improving the financial performance of the market.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build and lead the finance department (currently 5 FTE) to ensure accurate and timely accounting, payments, billing, FP&A, liquidity planning, financial systems, and reporting
• Implement and operate all finance processes from invoicing, billing, payments, commercial analysing, and financial reporting
• Implement MS Dynamics as ERP together with our Group Finance colleagues and adapt it to the German market
• Work closely with the GM Germany and other business functions and lead the creation of business plans, expansion and pricing strategies
• Monitor and report on financial performance against budget and forecast
• Lead the accounting and financial reporting functions for the German entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results
• Manage the monthly closing, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with local and group wide accounting standards
  
  
  

What You Should Bring

• 8+ years of experience in Finance functions in a fast-paced environment, including business partner and leadership functions.
• Experience from a position with full responsibility for the finance function in a dynamic environment
• Hold a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience with Finance related qualifications
• Strong business understanding and communication skills to build excellent collaboration with other departments in the market.
• Experience with implementation and customization of ERP systems, ideally MS Dynamics
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and experience leading teams.
• Ideally you have already worked in a B2C company in a start-up / scale-up environment and potentially even an international matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and German language (additional languages welcome)
