Your Role

As the Director Marketing (m/f/d)you are spearheading our downstream business marketing initiatives. You are building up and leading a team that will be responsible for our brand strategy, our product marketing and digital marketing and sales enablement. With your commitment, you will help Mabanaft to design and maintain the marketing activities for the diverse product portfolio of conventional and renewable energies in order to support us in our ambition, to become the preferred independent liquid fuels supplier to end consumers in our core markets. The product portfolio includes fuels of all kinds, such as liquid fossil fuels, LPG, biofuels and e-fuels, methanol and hydrogen/ammonia.

Your Tasks

• Team Building and Leadership: You are responsible for hiring, training, and leading the entire marketing team. You will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the team you will provide mentorship and career development opportunities for all team members.
• Brand Strategy Development: You develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with company goals. To do so you and your team conduct market research to inform brand positioning and messaging.
• Product Marketing: You are leading all product marketing efforts, including pricing strategies, promotions, and product launches. You are working in close collaboration with our product development teams to ensure market demands are met effectively.
• Digital Marketing: You oversee digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, social media, email campaigns, and online advertising. You utilize analytics to guide digital marketing decisions and improve campaign performance.
• Sales Enablement: With your team, you are providing the sales teams with essential tools, materials, and trainings. You ensure that marketing and sales strategies are aligned and mutually supportive.
  
  

Required Qualifications And Experience

• Experience: You have several years’ experience in a Marketing and Brand positioning Leadership role in a demanding sector in B2B businesses.
• Marketing Professional: You are proficient in digital marketing tools and analytics.
• Education: Master's degree (or equivalent) in economics, marketing or a related field.
  
  

Relevant Skills

• Leadership: You have shown empathetic and holistic leadership skills and are experienced in leading teams though ambiguity in international set-ups and show strong communication skills.
• Overview: You can handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You have a good contextual awareness and good strategic thinking skills.
• Hands-On Mentality: You enjoy working in fast paced environments with flat hierarchies and solve challenges on your own.
