Director Global Controlling (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Implement robust procedures for monthly and quarterly reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance within the business group and in comparison with Freudenberg & Co. standards
• Provide the Board with key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the business to maintain FHCS's strategic direction and performance goals
• Perform ad hoc analyses as requested by the FHCS Board, with a focus on fulfilling the CFO's specific requirements
• Develop new reporting templates and presentation materials, and continually enhance all reporting systems for maximum efficiency and clarity
• Oversee the monthly financial close process, manage the operative planning, and handle contract management duties for FHCS GmbH
• Administer the Hyperion system, establish and maintain interfaces with other systems such as SAC or SAP-ERP to ensure seamless data integration and reporting
• Contribute to the education and development of young professionals during their DHBW College tenure and in their initial role at FHCS Global Controlling
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or preferably Master's degree in Business Administration
• Proficient in English and German, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with FHCS group-wide stakeholders
• Over 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, and IT, with a focus on Controlling in both sales and production units
• In-depth knowledge and experience with IFRS Reporting, as well as proficiency in Hyperion, SAP CO/FI, and BI/Analytics tools
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to oversee an internationally-oriented function, along with managing complex projects and processes
• Proactive in challenging existing procedures and systems, incorporating lean thinking to enhance efficiency and productivity
