Job Title: M&A Director

Location: : Munich, Germany

Job Description:

Our clients are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented M&A Director to join their Munich office. As an M&A Director, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of investment bankers in advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. You will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing complex deals, leveraging your deep expertise in M&A.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originate and lead M&A transactions, including identifying potential targets, conducting due diligence, and negotiating deal terms
• Develop and implement deal strategies in collaboration with senior bankers and clients
• Manage the end-to-end execution of transactions, including financial modeling, valuation, and transaction documentation
• Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on their growth and portfolio optimization initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and other stakeholders
• Mentor and develop a team of junior investment banking professionals
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, or a related field
• Proven track record of successfully leading and closing complex M&A transactions
• Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present to and negotiate with clients
• Thorough understanding of financial regulations, industry standards, and deal structures
• Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
• Experience in the healthcare, Life Sciences or Technology sector.
