The role:

• Work closely with the Head of Commercial Strategy and the Commercial Team to identify and prioritize key business problems and opportunities where data science can have the most significant impact
• Handle & consolidate different types of data to guide and drive decisions based on data
• Conceptualise and define the key components of business analytics solutions
• Translate business needs into data requirements and collect & organize the data to support the given objectives
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that can influence business decisions
• Use statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to build predictive models that forecast sales, customer behaviour, and market trends
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of business strategies
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities based on purchase history and behaviour
• Maintain models across multiple markets (countries) and model types
• Support analytic and visualization tools for sales and commercial teams in business unit Central
  
  

Who we’re looking for:

• Degree with advanced proficiency in mathematics and computer science.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or in a closely related role.
• Experience working with large data sets, including data mining, data cleansing/transformation, statistical analyses, and data visualization.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in programming with R, Python, or SQL, and experience with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of programming with SAS is an asset.
• Experience in the implementation of solutions for end users in the MS Azure platform.
• Fluency in English.
