Our client is a leading global not-for-profit organization in project management that provides certifications, standards, and resources to advance the profession. It supports project managers through educational programs, research, and community engagement to improve project success rates worldwide.


This acquisition-focused role represents the organization in a key market, engaging the German project management community and collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders. It involves extensive travel to identify new business opportunities, maximize resource use for outreach, and support the Germany Chapter in delivering strategic initiatives.


Roles Responsibilities:


  • Alignment with Strategy: Ensure alignment of the organization's strategy, Next strategy, and activation plans in close collaboration with the Germany Strategy Lead.
  • Chapter Support: Drive effective support of the Germany Chapter with tools and resources for engaging their membership base and support the diversification of their member base.
  • Community of Practices (CoPs): Facilitate the successful running of CoPs with the Germany Chapter, ensuring valuable output such as locally relevant thought leadership in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Market Activation Initiatives: Develop, implement, and manage market activation initiatives in alignment with the Germany Chapter and internal stakeholders, including the Academic Lead, Partner Success Manager, and Country Strategy Lead.
  • Event Facilitation: Facilitate client-hosted events in Germany in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders, such as the Country Strategy Lead, Academic & Vocational Training Lead, Regional Managing Director, and Partner Success Manager.
  • Representation at Events: Represent the client at Germany-based third-party events through participation, booth work, and speaking engagements.
  • Corporate Networking Group: Collaborate with internal PSM/B2B stakeholders and the Germany Chapter to evaluate potential, and if positive, found and activate a German Corporate Networking Group.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Preferred bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fields.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Customer-facing experience with a focus on problem-solving and issue resolution.
  • Proactive approach in initiating activities and engaging stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative sales and influencing stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and German, with digital technology proficiency and CRM experience.
