Compliance Officer

We are currently searching for a dedicated and passionate Compliance Officer to oversee company operations in Europe and Africa. You must be highly informed and experienced with regulatory law, breach of policy, and conflict of interest, as well as an excellent communicator with the ability to stay methodical and calm when investigating risks and reporting.

Role and Responsibilities

The role primarily focuses on aiding the compliance division with compliance risk management, including corrupt practices, antitrust behaviour, conflicts of interest, and harassment cases, with additional adherence to our client’s Code of Conduct.

• Conducting compliance risk assessments
• Implementing the Compliance Program, and encouraging ‘speak up’ policies throughout the international workforce and company operations.
• Facilitating effective communication with division management and key stakeholders.
• Assessing and coordinating compliance training needs, including development efforts.
• Supporting Code of Conduct reviews and overseeing policy management.
• Managing reports, leading investigations, and providing regular reports to seniors.
• Promote a culture of integrity and compliance within the division, fostering trust and collaboration with stakeholders while upholding our client's compliance standards.

Your Profile and Qualifications

• Seeking a proactive team player with strong experience in compliance roles, thriving in both independent work and cross-functional collaboration.
• Must excel in dynamic environments, possess excellent organisational skills, and have a background in international corporate settings.
• At least 5 years of experience in an international compliance role.
• Key competencies include strong project management skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• An accredited Law Degree is required, ideally alongside an additional Compliance Certification.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory, and an additional European Language is expected.

This position has a choice of multiple locations throughout Europe- including Germany, Sweden, France, Estonia, and the United Kingdom.
