What will you do?

As a Compliance Analyst at Rakuten Symphony Germany, your role will involve facilitating compliance operations in Rakuten Symphony Group companies. This will require close collaboration with the Global Governance, Risk & Compliance Department (GRCD) and various cross-functional teams. This position will report to the Global Compliance Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities -

• Coordinate compliance awareness initiatives, including local and global trainings and onboarding sessions
• Analyze various policy and privacy related operations under the purview of GRCD (e.g. Confidential Information, Gift & Entertainment, Anti-Bribery, Conflict of Interest)
• Support investigations of alleged violations of policies and Code of Conduct
• Facilitate ad-hoc compliance operations such as third-party due diligence, monitoring activities and cross-functional audits.
• Effectively organize, manage, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Law or equivalent working experience
• 3+ years of experience in compliance, investigations, legal, and/or forensic accounting/auditing field
• Fluent in German & English languages.

• Sound intellectual creativity and strong ethical compass.
• Demonstrated proactiveness in previous roles with ambition to grow and advance.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.

What we look for?

• The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of compliance, and preferably legal experience and investigation experience both locally and globally.
• Knowledge and experience with privacy regulations, including GDPR compliance is highly desirable.
