Co-founder & CMO

Startup Play (https://startupplay.com) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Co-founder & CMO. As one of the key leaders of our innovative startup, you will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing & sales strategies and drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for startups and a proven track record in building and leading successful marketing or sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a hands-on mentality, a hard-working attitude, and an open-minded approach to innovation in all aspects of the role
• Maintain transparency and open communication
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
• Embrace Agile methodologies and work practices to facilitate efficient and iterative development processes
• Lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional advertising
• Build and manage relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers
• Collaborate with the other team members to align marketing, customer success and sales efforts with product development
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights
• Manage the company's brand and ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all marketing materials and channels
• Measure and analyze marketing performance and report on key metrics to company stakeholders
• Assume the spotlight at events and conferences, ensuring our name resonates throughout the industry
• Actively engage in networking both online and offline to promote the brand and create strategic partnerships
  
  

Requirements

• Essential fluency in both German and English languages
• Hard-working attitude, hands-on mentality, and open-minded approach to innovation, contributing to a dynamic and proactive work environment
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with a high level of autonomy and accountability
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Proven experience as a marketing and sales roles, ideally in the startup or technology industry
• Preferably, experience as a founder in a startup environment, showcasing leadership and entrepreneurial skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics
• Proficiency in analyzing data and using analytics tools to drive marketing decisions
• Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
