Chief Financial Officer

Key information:

• Start up Private Equity backed business looking for a CFO or Finance Director to come in as a key part of the leadership team
• Management of a big 4 qualified Financial Controller
• 5 days per week in office as this is a dynamic business which needs strong commitment
• Office located in Frankfurt Am Mein

Job Summary:

The Finance Director/CFO will have a broad remit including all finance as well as some operational management.

• Effectively manage and oversee the financial operations of the company
• Managing and supervising the deliverables by external service provider and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Treasury Management. Developing financial and liquidity strategies and providing analysis and recommendations to the senior management team.
• Broader operational management outside of finance (COO type responsibilities)

Qualifications:

• Must be highly proficient in German and English
• Bachelor's or similar degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Qualified accountant ideal
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
