As part of the Roche Services Solutions (RSS) Financial Compliance, Authorizations, Financial Approvals & Projects team, we recognize the pivotal role that we play in safeguarding the integrity of financial reporting across our global operations. We are committed to ensuring Financial Compliance requirements are aligned with global and local business processes, while enhancing transparency, accuracy, and compliance in the financial reporting process. Our dedicated team across Operations and Governance services aim to champion best practices, driving excellence in Financial Compliance.

Your key responsibilities include:
You hold a degree in Accounting, Informatics, Business or other Accounting and Finance Professional qualifications. You built 10+ years of work experience leading operational excellence, process improvement projects and initiatives in the areas of Authorizations, Financial Approvals and ICFR.

For our team, we are looking for a Chapter Lead (Projects) - Financial Compliance.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Handle and lead all aspects of the end-to-end implementation of all project related activities (primarily ASPIRE focused) for Authorizations, including scoping, planning, design, configuration, testing and deployment phases
- Ensure compliance with ASPIRE project governance frameworks, standards, and methodologies and contribute to post-implementation reviews and lessons learned
- Develop in line ASPIRE roll out plans specific to Financial Compliance related project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project milestones and deliverables
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, project and people related limitations and risks and advice on corrective measures to manage project impact.
- Ensure adequate training material is established/updated and, where feasible, integrated into the functional stream process training and aligns with the ASPIRE training methodology and requirements.
- Collaborate with GBPM Authorizations, Financial Approvals and Internal Controls, as well as functional stream leads and business process managers to assess business processes requirements, and identify control requirements and opportunities for optimization and automation
- Contribute to Big room and PI planning and monitor cross-functional backlogs to ensure successful integration of key internal controls requirements
- Manage project resources, including internal team members, external consultants, and third-party vendors, to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
- Ensure appropriate facilitation of workshops, meetings, and training sessions to
- educate stakeholders on functionalities to ensure effective adoption
- review framework changes arising from respective product increments
- Collaborate with GBPM Authorizations and Internal Controls to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance internal templates and processes, leveraging ASPIRE system driven capabilities and best practices
- Ensure team development is a core focus through appropriate performance management, training engagement and clear goal and career development to promote a high performance environment to deliver excellence in governance and deployment
- Serve as a mentor and coach to team members, offering guidance on technical and functional development, skill enhancement, and personal growth
- Build sustainable talent pool and expertise in the subject areas while ensuring succession plan is in place for key positions
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace with a key focus on ensuring a safe, positive and engaging work environment
You hold a degree in Accounting, Informatics, Business or other Accounting and Finance Professional qualifications. You built 10+ years of work experience leading operational excellence, process improvement projects and initiatives in the areas of Authorizations, Financial Approvals and ICFR.
Furthermore:
- You are able to provide leadership specifically in the areas of being visionary, strategic planning/implementation, business process management, and managing process changes while maintaining stakeholders’ and team engagement
- You have advanced continuous improvement mindset with a focus on integration of stakeholder needs through process improvement and enhance process execution
- You bring excellent people management, coaching/motivational skills and D&I mindset is essential
