As part of a parental leave replacement, we are looking for a Campaign Manager Digital (All gender welcome!) for a limited period from August 2024 for a period of 12 to 15 months


The Role


The Campaign Manager Digital is a key member of Condé Nast's campaign management team and is responsible for the execution of direct and programmatic guaranteed campaigns across display and video. This role is critical to the success of our campaigns and has direct responsibility for the technical feasibility, trafficking, timing and delivery management of our campaigns. As the ideal candidate, you will have proven experience in ad trading and reporting and be curious about the media landscape and digital technologies. This role reports directly to the Campaign Management Team Lead in Munich.


The team


The campaign management team in Germany is part of the global campaign management team, which also includes France, Italy, Spain, the UK and the US, and is located within the commercial organization. It works closely with the Digital Media Strategy, Ad Platforms and Condé Nast Ad Studio teams to help build successful digital campaigns.


These tasks await you:


You will be responsible for the setup and execution of direct and programmatic campaigns for our clients from all industries in the display, mobile and video channels.

You will optimize campaigns according to the specified KPIs and in coordination with the customer.

You create campaign evaluations and reports.

You advise the internal sales departments on campaign design and implementation and support them in preparing customer meetings.

You act as a communicative interface and mediator between the individual departments, such as Sales, Technology, Data and our booking customers.


What sets you apart:


  • You have a degree in media management, comparable training or are a career changer with knowledge of web technology/IT with a marketing focus.
  • You have 2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • You are a digital native and are familiar with common ad servers, SSPs or tracking solutions such as Google Ad Manager 360, MOAT, etc. and have in-depth knowledge and work experience in at least one ad server.
  • At best, you have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript.
  • You are interested in developments in the areas of online marketing, programmatic advertising or ad technology and are familiar with digital business models.
  • You have very good communication skills and can put yourself in the shoes of different personalities.
  • You work independently, are well organized and proactively familiarize yourself with new topics and developments.
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken English
