Job Title: Business Development Manager (Energy)
Location: Nurnberg , Germany (Hybrid/Remote)
Salary/Rate: 90-130k

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
1. Develop and enhance a comprehensive business strategy for the Energy sector in collaboration with the Business Unit Manager.
2. Establish and maintain successful relationships with new clients and partner companies.
3. Acquire new clients and partners in the renewable energy sector through market analysis and compelling proposals.
4. Evaluate potential clients and partners to ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
5. Prepare and execute project kick-offs to ensure smooth project initiation.
6. Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
1. Degree in Business Administration, Sales/Marketing, or Electrical Engineering.
2. Successful and proven track record in the renewable energy sector, preferably in B2B photovoltaics.
3. Proven ability to build and maintain client and partner relationships.
4. Established network in the renewable energy sector.
5. Proficient in German and English
6. Strong communication, negotiation skills, and resilience.
7. EU Driving licence
Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:
1. Connections with manufacturers like Trina, Jollywood, Groowatt, SMA, Sungrow.
2. Network within the renewables sector or experience with companies such as Baywa r.e., IBC Solar, MaxSolar, JUWI, Solarwatt, E.on, N-ergie, EnBW, EWE, Uniper.
3. Ability to negotiate frame contracts for delivery.
