Controlling & Analytics Trainee (m/w/d)

YOUR TASKS

• We offer you an 18 to 24-month trainee program and a permanent employment contract
• You will get to know the Controlling and Analytics departments
• You will take on specialist and project responsibilities from day one
• You will be responsible for financial controlling, including planning and reporting at the P&L - level
• You will optimize the controlling of digital business models and the further development of existing KPI systems
• You will analyze complex data with the goal of providing our partners with the best possible advice on both operational and strategic issues
• Working in an agile team, you will provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations to optimize campaigns 
• You will work with other trainees on exciting and forward-thinking trainee projects
• You will receive individual supervision and have the opportunity to network within the entire PAYBACK GROUP

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a university degree in economics, statistics, mathematics or a comparable qualification. 
• You have a strong understanding of numbers and excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• You have application skills in Python and SQL  
• You like to think your way through business questions and answer them using available data 
• You are proactive, innovative, creative and a team player
• High self-motivation, assertiveness and good communication skills
• Excellent German and English skills

DEINE AUFGABEN

• Wir bieten dir ein 18 bis 24 -monatiges Traineeprogramm und einen unbefristeten Arbeitsvertrag 
• Du lernst die Unternehmensbereiche Controlling und Analytics
• Du übernimmst Fach- und Projektverantwortung ab dem ersten Tag 
• Du bist für das Finanzcontrolling zuständig, z.B. für die Planung und Berichtswesen auf GuV-Ebene
• Du optimierst das Controlling digitaler Geschäftsmodelle und die Weiterentwicklung bestehender Kennzahlen-Systeme 
• Du analysierst komplexe Daten mit dem Ziel, unsere Partner sowohl bei operativen als auch bei strategischen Fragestellungen bestmöglich zu beraten 
• Du arbeitest in einem agilen Team und erstellst Ad-Hoc Analysen sowie Vorschläge zur Optimierung der Kampagnen 
• Du arbeitest zusammen mit anderen Trainees an spannenden und zukunftsweisenden Trainee Projekten 
• Du wirst individuell betreut und hast die Möglichkeit in der gesamten PAYBACK GROUP zu netzwerken 

DEIN PROFIL

• Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Statistik, Mathematik oder vergleichbare Qualifizierung 
• Nutzenorientiertes Handeln und analytisches Denken fallen dir nicht schwer 
• Du denkst dich gerne in betriebswirtschaftliche Fragestellungen ein und beantwortest sie anhand verfügbarer Daten
• Du besitzt Anwendungskenntnisse in Python und SQL 
• Du strotzt vor Innovationskraft und Kreativität 

• Teamarbeit ist für dich selbstverständlich 
• Du bist stark in der Kommunikation, kannst dich auch mal durchsetzen und überzeugen 
• Deine Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sind sehr gut
