Your team

In our Product & Technology division, we deliver highly scalable and performant software – with passion. We consist of hundreds of Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Architects, Product Owners and Cluster Leads and speak fluently agile – amongst many other languages. The Regulatory Reporting Team is within our Banking Core division which is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Avaloq software and products. As a member of the Regulatory Reporting Team, you will be part of a collaborative and small team of Software Engineers and Business Analysts building high-quality solutions that support our existing and new clients with their regulatory requirements. Following Agile methodologies, you will work closely with the Product Owner, Business Analysts and Software Engineers to design, develop, test and maintain functionality within the team’s responsibility.

Your key tasks:

• Analyse requirements and create specifications together with software developers, partners and customers
• Evaluate possible scenarios and recommend best business and IT solutions
• Support developers during implementation
• Act as the contact person concerning functional questions
• Maintain product documentation in collaboration with our technical writers
• Support consulting projects, project implementations and sales workshops
• Follow and understand the end-to-end solution, including the know-how on banking and backend solution
  
  

Qualifications

What you need:

• Strong proven track record of performance in a similar role.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Interest in coding
• Full professional proficiency in German and English (at least B2)
• Experience of working within Agile methodologies
  
  

It would be a real bonus if you have:

• Knowledge of the Avaloq Banking Suite
• Knowledge regarding regulatory reporting software, like BAIS or ABACUS
• Skills in PL/SQL
• Previous experience in the banking sector especially in the risk or legal reporting areas
• Degree in a banking related specialism
