Context:

To keep working on IKOS’ growth in Germany, we are recruiting civil engineers and site managers with relevant experience in the field, keen to work on strategic projects in the railway sector.

Responsibilities:

• Planning the construction process in the field of structural and civil engineering and control and safety technology
• Independently ensuring that the project progresses on schedule
• Independently defining and structuring project services and work packages in coordination with the client and project participants such as sub-contractors
• Independently analyzing facts and problems in the project to identify project risks and presenting these to the client
• Providing technical advice to the client in the processing and evaluation of options for action to ensure that the project objectives (in particular deadlines, costs, quality) are met and project risks are reduced
• Coordinating options for action and monitoring the implementation of measures
• Supervision of (external) planning services provided by third parties for civil engineering structures, superstructure and traffic stations
• Continuous monitoring, documentation and optimization of construction progress, including taking appropriate measures to achieve targets
• Ensuring the delivery dates of the material in coordination with all associated interfaces
• Ensuring that quality, deadlines and costs are met for each construction project

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree (Diploma, Bachelor or Master) – mandatory
• You are passionate about innovation and want to help shape the future of rail transportation and you have experience in the railway industry
• You have solid experience in Site Management in Energy Supply, Lighting and safety equipment or similar topics
• You aspire to work on large-scale projects that have a tangible impact on the safety and efficiency of rail infrastructure
• You want to evolve within a dynamic and collaborative team, where your skills will be valued and your expertise put to good use
• Minimum intermediate German language in speaking and writing
• ready für business-trips on-site or to end-customers
