The biggest advantage of wearable sensors is the provisioning of continuous physiological data from the body worn sensor system. This leads to the new ways to diagnose different sort of diseases, especially chronic ones.
The idea was to develop a Body Area Network of wearable Sensors that can monitor the vital signs of an infant. It's called digital parenting but why wearables for babies? After all, hundreds of generations of offspring have managed without them. A point well made, but the smart sensors can take the hassle and worry away, tracking your child's vitals and helping you to ensure they're comfortable, which as any parent knows, makes for happy parents, too. The catch is to develop the sensors based on ergonomics that they should be easy to wear and do not interrupt any body parts. All the sensors will be talking to an armband that will interact with the smartphone through wireless interface. The most important factor was to develop miniature sensors with good battery life and some easy way to recharge the sensors and the band.

Identity verification is a dire need in today’s Pakistan. Identity verification is a dire need in today’s Pakistan. Be it CNICs, driver’s licenses, passports, arms license, car registration, IDP cards, BISP cards, NTNs all need verifications at varying locations and by different personnel. In many of these cases, verification is required outside office premises. For instance, driver’s licenses and car registrations need to be checked on highways by traffic police, CNICs need to be checked by security personnel at check-posts and passports need to be verified at various points at the airport. Currently there is no integrated solution that can provide on-demand identity verification in real time. OMNES, fills this void by introducing a mobile app that is capable of reading barcodes, QR codes, magnetic stripes, OCR text as well as biometric information and verifying it in real-time with relevant databases to assist all government organizations requiring such verifications.
Our team believes that if OMNES is owned by the government, it can provide various levels of verification access depending on the need of particular departments and personnel, thus enhancing transparency, efficiency and curbing the use of fake identification. At the same time, through the use of OMNES, the security personnel can accurately verify identity documents, thereby catching potential miscreants.Andere Mitarbeiter:innenProjekt anzeigen -

Awais is the Creator and Co-founder of “TAME” which stands for “Tremor Acquisition and Minimization”. It is the World’s First wearable device for pathological Tremor Categorization and Real-Time suppression. Pathological Tremors are the most common neurological movement disorder which cause involuntary rhythmic shaking of various parts of the human body, most commonly the hands. Around 280 Million people worldwide have lost their independence due to these tremors. They have to depend on others to perform the simplest tasks in life like eating, drinking and even dressing themselves. But unfortunately even after such medical advancements the scientists are far from even understanding the root cause of the disorder let alone find a cure for it.
Realizing the need for something that gives these patients back their independence, Awais and his team including Hooriya Anam and Muhammad Arsalan Javed came up with the idea of TAME which is a non-invasive Tremor Suppression device that can give back the control and ease to the tremor patients to perform their routine tasks without hindering their voluntary movements.
TAME is a complete solution for the treatment and diagnosis of Pathological Tremor patients in the form of an intuitive, user friendly and easily manageable wearable device connected to cloud storage for easy management and sharing of diagnosis files. Recently the team presented their Research in IEEE-WCST 2015 in London, England. They also competed in BITA 2015 with the most brilliant innovations from Industry and Academia in Pakistan and received the Best I.T innovation Award 2015 along with PKR. 1 Million.
