In the fast lane 🚀 We will get there if we regularly exchange ideas and inspiration. That's what Bernhard Brück from Kärcher, Joachim Rosskopf and Desiree Breidenbach from #Zoi have done today at the Microsoft #AIroadshow in #Stuttgart. Our cloud partner provided a great platform for a deep exchange on human-centered and ethical #AI in #automotive production and #manufacturing. 💡 Our findings from all these insightful sessions? - AI redefines the interface between humans and machines. - In 3 years, all applications not using AI will be considered as broken or incomplete. - AI safety is important: The medical industry with its highest standards can be seen as leading in this field. - Companies like Kärcher, Liebherr Group, Mercedes-Benz AG, Siemens, Bosch ... all have started their journey more or less similarly, which makes the exchange even more valuable. - Use cases with #RAG technology, e.g. a company chatbot, are most common. - The integration of AI solutions into the existing system landscape, the identification of the use cases with the most promising ROI, and the change management that comes with it continue to be challenging. (But don't worry, Zoi can help here 😉) We are all pioneers. Let's continue to rAIse the bar 💪

Sport? Yes, football ⚽, but not much else is happening at the moment. But guess what, today was also the German Road Cycling 🚴♂️ Championships. We didn't take part, so not on the bike, but we weren't just sitting in front of the TV either. When we are involved, it's usually about cloud and IoT. At Zoi, we took on the challenge of enhancing the race experience with cutting-edge technology. We built a local network from individual support vehicles, utilizing gateways to communicate with our trackingsystem. These data were transmitted via cellular networks to the #AWS Cloud, where they were processed in real-time and visualized in a web-based frontend. This setup allowed us to generate significantly more data about the race, providing precise position and speed information of the cyclists, support vehicles, and camera motorcycles. For us, it was an exciting insight into the potential of IoT in sports and a really cool IoT case. The future looks promising, with plans to extend tracking to all race vehicles for even richer data and more detailed coverage. I think we'll be following this further. So, while the football fans are glued to their screens, we're out here making data in the cycling world! 🚴♀️ (This post was written after today's football game)

That's why we're proud to have been a local technology partner of the #RadDM in Bad Dürrheim | Donaueschingen. 📺 To enhance the race experience for fans at home and in the fan areas, we built a local network from individual support vehicles, utilizing gateways to communicate with our tracking system. 📍 This setup allowed us to generate significantly more data about the race, providing precise position and speed information of the cyclists, support vehicles, and camera motorcycles. 📶 The data was transmitted via cellular networks to the #AWSCloud, processed in real-time and visualized in a web-based frontend.
