BRUSH TECHNOLOGY WEEKS – 300 visitors – 100 companies – 30 countries Our four-week Brush Technology Weeks are coming to an end. In the past few weeks, we have been able to welcome around 300 visitors from 100 companies and 30 countries to our production halls in Todtnau and Logrono. All visitors were able to take as much time as they wished and needed to exchange ideas and obtain information in detail. 20 machine types were presented, 13 could be admired live in action. Last Thursday, this year's B2Run took place in Freiburg, in which sixteen ZAHORANSKY employees took part in addition to about 11,500 other runners. In the best running weather, the participants mastered the 5.3 km long route around the Europapark Stadium either jogging or Nordic walking. The focus was on fun and togetherness. The aim of the B2Run is to strengthen team spirit and cohesion among colleagues. In addition, the organizer supports the German Bone Marrow Donor Center (DKMS) and is committed to climate protection by planting a tree for each runner. For our employees, the B2Run was once again a nice experience this year, which they ended together at the subsequent after-run party.

A Z.SWAN MT was successfully installed at our customer FLORENCE, a well-known producer for the Marco Boni brand. Z.SWAN machines are available in two different variants: for the production of full round and flat brushes and for the production of polishing brushes. Thanks to the many options and expansion stages, the Z.SWAN can be individually adapted to customer needs. These include, for example, the processing of monofilaments, including melting, or the optional "Tuft Control" measuring technology for bundle press-fit control. Double-sided hand washing brushes including double-sided shearing can also be produced on the Z.SWAN. The machine is available as a fully automatic or hand-operated version. We are very pleased about the customer's trust in our machines and wish them a lot of joy in the production with the new ZAHORANSKY machine.

Last week, the successful acceptance of a Z.SAILFIN took place with our customer GEKA GmbH. The Z.SAILFIN is a machine for the production of small twist-in brushes such as mascara and interdental brushes. It impresses with its extremely high precision in bending, twisting-in and cutting of the end products. An integrated camera control also ensures highest quality of the brushes. The machine can optionally be extended for contour cutting and handle assembly. With up to 95 brushes per minute, a minimum number of retooling parts and a footprint of only 4m², the Z.SAILFIN is also extremely time-, cost- and space-saving. We would like to thank the customer for trusting in ZAHORANSKY and wish a successful production.

Circle of Excellence 2024 Our electrical engineering student Jonas Hauk was appointed to the Circle of Excellence by the DHBW Lörrach. The Circle of Excellence honors students who have not only impressed the jury with their performance in their studies, but above all with their strong social skills. We congratulate Jonas Hauk on this great achievement!

The aim of the ZAHORANSKY service is to continuously increase the machine availability and productivity of ZAHORANSKY solutions. In order to offer a perfect solution for all customer requirements and to always be up to date with the latest technologies, an international exchange of employees within the company also plays an important role.  For these reasons, ZAHORANSKY organizes the “International Service Days” for ZAHORANSKY service employees once a year, which took place for the 11th time this year from 3 to 7 June. A total of 20 ZAHORANSKY service technicians from all over the world took part in the training. They were trained by ten trainers in various specialist areas over five days. The main focus of this year's training was on the new ZAHORANSKY ZMI4 machine control generation. Due to the Brush Technology Weeks held in the weeks before, there was a unique opportunity to use the many different exhibited machines for the training. The service technicians were thus able to apply their newly acquired skills directly in practice and also get to know machines better that they do not normally work with. A highlight of the workshop was a visit to M10 Solar Equipment on Wednesday afternoon, where all participants were given a tour of the company and a presentation of the machines. The workshop concluded on Friday afternoon as part of the ZAHORANSKY summer party. ZAHORANSKY says thank you to all the organizers and participants for making the 11th International Service Days 2024 a complete success once again.
