twentyrising is the impossible agency. Founded by five friends, without network back-up, investors or starting clients. At the moment when the economy was going down and AI up. Today we work for Netflix, Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken, ESL FACEIT GROUP, Gebrüder Heinemann and MOIA - with and without AI. And we are still friends. Together we do what we want to do better. We are organized differently and believe that every task and everyone is equally important. Everything we do is transparent, accountable and reliable. And with only one goal: more customers for our clients. We achieve this through outstanding ideas, always and everywhere. Because we believe that an idea is always and everywhere more successful than no idea. That is how impossible success becomes possible.

Anyone who joins twentyrising is sent home immediately. We welcome and celebrate new employees - and then we send them home. Or to the park or the café. For two whole days. It's always a big surprise at first, but we mean it. During the days off, we want the newcomers to read everything about our path to great ideas, their journey with us, everything there is to know about our clients and how we treat each other. For example, our book "Ways of Rising" explains our meetings, annual reviews and salary discussions, what defines our ideas and why we often want to be "slightly overwhelmed". And then there are all (yes, all) of these presentations we have done for our clients. Prepared in such a way that it is easy to understand what is relevant. Coupled with all the other background information that is important. Putting such a package together takes at least a day. Reading it takes two. But it's worth it. And once you start like this, you won't want to go home again.
Wer bei twentyrising anfängt, wird sofort nach Hause geschickt. Wir begrüßen neue Mitarbeiter:innen herzlichst und feiern sie – und dann schicken wir sie wieder heim. Oder in den Park oder ins Café. Für volle zwei Tage. Die Überraschung darüber ist immer erstmal groß, aber wir meinen es ernst. In den freien Tagen sollen die Neuen lesen; alles über unseren Weg zu herausragenden Ideen, ihren Weg bei uns, alles, was es über unsere Kunden gibt und unseren Umgang miteinander. Unser Buch „Ways of Rising“ erklärt zum Beispiel unsere Meetings, Jahresgespräche und Gehaltsgespräche, was unsere Ideen ausmacht und warum wir oft „leicht überfordert“ sein wollen. Und dann gibt es alle (ja, alle) Präsentationen, die wir für den jeweiligen Kunden gehalten haben. So aufbereitet, dass leicht zu verstehen ist, was wichtig ist. Gepaart mit allen weiteren Hintergründen, die wichtig sind. So ein Paket zusammenzustellen dauert mindestens einen Tag. Es zu lesen dauert zwei. Aber das ist es wert. Und wer so anfängt, will erstmal nicht mehr nach Hause gehen."

Our contribution just in time for the legalization of cannabis in Germany for Sixt.
Was als Aprilscherz gedacht war, wurde der erste twentyrising Post für Sixt. Auch nach drei Jahren Pause ist der Sixt-Reflex bei Jojo Hicks offensichtlich noch ziemlich gut.

„Die Beratung ist die verlorene Säule der Werbung.“ In der neuen Folge von #WhatsNextAgencies habe ich Daniel Adolph, Independent Brand, Marketing & Pitch Consultant, zu Gast. Mit mehr als 17 Jahren Erfahrung in verschiedenen Führungspositionen bei Jung von Matt bringt Daniel wertvolle Einblicke mit, die er nun als Selbstständiger mit Unternehmen und Agenturen teilt. Sein Antrieb? Die Arbeit auf beiden Seiten zu verbessern. Im Gespräch streifen wir viele wichtige Themenfelder: die Agentur-Kunde-Beziehung, die Bedrohung durch künstliche Intelligenz, Pitch-Prozesse (ja, auch austauschbare Credentials) und insbesondere den Verbesserungsbedarf in der Beratung. Daniel betont die Notwendigkeit klarer Rollen und einer fundierten, starken Beratung, insbesondere in kleineren Agenturen. Denn: Einiges von dem, was früher zur Kernleistung bzw. zum Berufsbild gehörte, scheint verloren gegangen zu sein. Was mich neben der verlorenen Säule nachdenklich stimmt: Durch seine Selbständigkeit erfährt Daniel eine höhere Wertschätzung seitens der Kunden als noch zu Agenturzeiten – es gibt also noch viel zu tun. Not one, but 50+ Super Bowl ads - ESL FACEIT Group - EFG hacked the Super Bowl with a business-to-business campaign via LinkedIn. Inspired by almost every single Big Game commercial, we created an ad inviting brands to reach a younger audience at their Bigger Game: Esports and Gaming, with EFG. We are super happy that we pulled this off with the great and dedicated team at EFG. Lots of effort and ideas make up for a small budget, and this way B-to-B can be lots of fun. The campaign reaches its peak this Monday (mostly targeting the US) when marketing is discussing the Big Game ads.
