Herzlich willkommen Anton und Eldar We kickstart the second half of 2024 with two new team members, Anton Yehorov and Eldar Salpagarov. They are joining us as PhD candidates in cohort II of the Training Research Group GRK 2802, which focuses on improving raw material, energy, and climate efficiency in high-temperature processes and refractory recycling. Anton was born in Oleksandriia in 1997 and he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science at the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Dnipro. He then obtained the Dipl.-Ing title through a double degree in Materials Science with the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, specializing in steel technology. For the past two years, Anton has worked as an R&D engineer for Intocast AG. In his free time, he likes to go for a swim, usually by driving his bike and practicing kickboxing. Eldar came to the world in 1999 in the city of Tscherkessk. He acquired his Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the Mining University of Saint Petersburg and his Master’s Degree in Technology and Application of Inorganic Engineering Materials at the TUBAF. When he is not hiking or reading, Eldar usually spends his time playing either computer or cardboard games. We wish both success in their careers! #TUBAF #IEST #Research #Group #Refractory #Materials #Energy #Climate #Efficiency
