Mit TSR auf Reisen.✈🗺 Internationale Erfahrungen sind gerade für Berufseinsteigende wichtig und wertvoll. Daher legen wir großen Wert auf die Förderung von Auslandspraktika. Besonders beliebt ist das #Praktikum im Rahmen unseres Unternehmensverbunds. Die Auszubildenden schauen sich hierbei unsere europäischen Standorte an. Unsere Azubis Enno Hagenah und Yannick Schütz haben bei ihrem #Auslandspraktikum die TSR-Niederlassungen in #Tschechien und der #Slowakei kennengelernt. Aber auch Praktika in anderen Unternehmen sind bei uns möglich. Unsere Auszubildende Catharina Bülhoff verbrachte mit dem EU-Programm Erasmus+ vier spannende Wochen in #Irland bei einem Schreibwarenverlag. Hier sammelte sie wertvolle Erfahrungen, die ihr auch in ihrer Ausbildung bei TSR hilfreich sind. ___________________________________________ Travelling with TSR.✈🗺 Getting international experience is both important and valuable for young professionals. Which is why we attach great importance to promoting internships abroad. Doing an #internship within our own group is particularly popular as this enables our apprentices to take a look at our other European locations. Our apprentices Enno Hagenah and Yannick Schütz got to know our TSR branches in the #Czech Republic and #Slovakia during their internship abroad. But we also offer internships at other companies. Our apprentice Catharina Bülhoff spent four exciting weeks at a stationery publishing company in #Ireland as part of the EU’s Erasmus+ programme. She gained some really valuable experience there that will also help her during her apprenticeship at TSR.

🌍 Bei uns steht die #Kreislaufwirtschaft im Mittelpunkt: Wie können wir die verschiedenen Stoffkreisläufe konsequent und effizient schließen? Dazu gehört auch das #Recycling von Nischenprodukten wie #Transformatoren. ⚡ Trafos sind unverzichtbare Bestandteile in der Energieerzeugung, denn sie werden zum Umwandeln von Wechselspannungen genutzt. Wenn diese aufgrund von zu geringer Spannung oder Alterung ausgetauscht werden müssen, werden sie recycelt. Aber wie funktioniert das Recycling dieser riesigen Transformatoren eigentlich? Zunächst wird geprüft, wo die Transformatoren stehen, wie groß und wie schwer sie sind. Anschließend folgt die Planung: Wie können sie transportiert werden und was wird für den Transport gebraucht? ♻ Unsere Niederlassung in #Mannheim hat das Recycling eines Transformatoren übernommen. Um diesen Trafo zu unserer Niederlassung zu bringen, wurde er per Kran auf einen LKW geladen. In Mannheim angekommen, wird die Aluspule im Inneren des Trafos gelöst und die einzelnen Metalle getrennt, um sie anschließend aufzubereiten. So können die Metalle recycelt und wieder in den Kreislauf zurückgeführt werden. Effizientes Recycling - auch von Transformatoren - ist ein wichtiger Schritt in Richtung Kreislaufwirtschaft. Denn nur so wird es uns gelingen, wertvolle #Ressourcen zu schonen. ___________________________________________ 🌍 The circular economy is at the heart of everything we do: how can we systematically and efficiently close material life cycles? This also includes #recycling niche products such as #transformers. ⚡ Transformers are indispensable for generating energy as they are used to step up or step down alternating voltages. When these devices need to be replaced – because their voltage is too low or they are too old – they are sent on for recycling. But how exactly are these huge transformers recycled? The first step is to check where the transformers are located, how big they are and how heavy they are. This is followed by the planning stage: how can they be transported and what is needed to transport them? ♻ Our branch in #Mannheim took on this task of recycling a transformer. A crane was first used to load it onto a lorry so it could be taken to our branch. Once it arrived in Mannheim, the aluminium coil inside the transformer was removed and the individual metals separated from each other so they could be processed. This allowed the metals to be recycled and returned to market. Efficient recycling – of transformers, as well – is an important step towards creating a circular economy. This is the only way to successfully conserve valuable #resources.

Der direkte Zugang zum Amsterdamer Hafen ermöglicht uns darüber hinaus auch die Perspektive, Märkte in Übersee effizient mit Rohstoffen zu versorgen. ♻Ein wichtiges Signal für eine erfolgreiche #Circular #Economy! ___________________________________________ 🌍Current challenges such as #decarbonisation, #climate action and #sustainability are shaping social and economic debate. Our high-quality #recycled raw materials are already making a significant contribution to solving these issues and facilitating the transition towards a #circular economy. The growing demand for our #TSR40, #TSR130 and #TSR136 products has further reinforced our commitment to continuously expand our processing capacities. 🎉We are, therefore, delighted that we were able to officially commission another TSR40 production line at our Amsterdam site yesterday. Working closely with our colleagues at our subsidiary HKS The Metal Company, we have made considerable investments as a group and built a facility there that uses the same patented #production process as our plant in #Duisburg. ❗ The commissioning of this new facility marks another important #milestone in our mission to become a reliable supplier of raw materials. These additional processing capacities will help ensure that we are able to cover our partners' demand for raw materials and that we live up to our role of being a #supplier to industry. With its direct access to the port of Amsterdam, this site also gives us the prospect of being able to efficiently supply overseas markets with raw materials in the future as well. ♻An important signal for a successful #circular #economy!  

♻ Vergangene Woche waren wir in Antwerpen auf dem International Automotive Recycling Congress #IARC 2024 unterwegs – ein sehr guter Treffpunkt, um sich über die neuesten Entwicklungen und Herausforderungen in der #Kreislaufwirtschaft und #Automobilindustrie auszutauschen. 🚗 Mit unseren Recyclingprodukten #TSR40, #TSR130 und #TSR136 aus Post-Consumer-Material stellen wir der Automobilindustrie hochwertige #Rohstoffe zur Verfügung, die in der Neuproduktion von Fahrzeugen wieder eingesetzt werden können. Diese sind nicht nur energie- und ressourcenschonend, sondern auch sofort verfügbar. Ein wichtiger Baustein auf dem Weg zu einer effektiven und nachhaltigen Kreislaufwirtschaft. 💬 From Car to Car: Diesem Grundsatz folgend zeigte Christian Blackert (Managing Director TSR Resource) den Teilnehmenden am Beispiel von bereits umgesetzten #Leuchtturmprojekten unsere Idee vom im kreislaufgeführten Automobil. These products not only conserve energy and natural resources but are also available here and now. Spannender Besuch am Cablo GmbH Standort Fehrbellin   Mithilfe der Recyclingaktivitäten unseres Joint Ventures CABLO werden aus Kabeln hochwertige Recyclingrohstoffe zurückgewonnen, die ohne Qualitätsverlust wieder in der Industrie eingesetzt werden können.♻   Die Bedeutung einer funktionierenden Circular Economy kennt auch Mathias Perschall, Bürgermeister von Fehrbellin.
